Maria-Helen Maras

Maria is an Investment Manager, investing in venture and growth stage businesses in the healthcare sector. She is interested in tech-enabled care delivery and software companies that are reimagining the future of healthcare by expanding accessibility, improving health outcomes, and reducing costs. She invests across Europe and the US, which she particularly relishes as it gives her a good excuse to go back to NY, where she grew up as a teenager. 

Prior to joining Kinnevik, Maria worked in Strategy Consulting at Javelin Group, part of Accenture Strategy. Recently, she also spent time on the operational side of startups, as part of a secondment. 

Outside of work, Maria enjoys travelling, reading (anything about the Ancient world!), yoga and playing the piano.
