Kinnevik is a leading growth investor, active owner and operational partner, providing patient capital to challenger technology-enabled businesses. As LUMA, you will spend a year close to our management team, learning how a growth investor actually works. You will take part in the day-to-day operations of the business and in longer-term, strategic projects across a variety of functions. It is a chance to see, up close, how growth companies are built, and to build a broad professional network within the Kinnevik sphere along the way.
The word LUMA is derived from the Latin word lumen, meaning light. LUMA was the name given to this position at Kinnevik when it was first launched in 1977, as Kinnevik was looking for a talented trainee to bring bright ideas to the business. Today, it means that we are looking for a person who is curious, innovative, humble, adaptable and a true team player with a genuine interest in business building.
