Christer Simrén appointed new CEO of Korsnäs

Investment AB Kinnevik (publ) ("Kinnevik") today announced that Christer Simrén (46) has been appointed new Chief Executive Officer of Korsnäs. Christer Simrén was most recently Managing Director of Wermland Paper. Christer Simrén has a long history with both Korsnäs and Kinnevik; between 1999 and 2001 he was COO and CEO of Korsnäs. Prior to that he was head of Applied Value's Chicago office. Christer Simrén holds a PhD in Industrial Management and Economics from Chalmers University of Technology. He will take up his new position September 1 2008.
